1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using BOSS POS and the services provided by Logic8 Business Solutions Corp. ("Logic8," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Logic8 provides the BOSS POS Point of Sale (POS) system, including hardware terminals and the cloud-based NTCloud platform. Our services include sales processing, inventory management, AI-driven insights, and regulatory reporting for Philippine businesses.
3. Hardware and Installation
- Ownership: Upon full payment, the hardware provided (POS terminals, printers, cash drawers) becomes the property of the customer.
- Warranty: Hardware is covered by a standard one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover physical damage, liquid spills, or unauthorized repairs.
- Installation: Setting up the BOSS POS system is the joint responsibility of Logic8 and the customer. Logic8 provides remote or on-site assistance as specified in the purchased plan.
4. Software Subscription
Use of the BOSS POS software and NTCloud services requires a recurring monthly or annual subscription. Failure to pay subscription fees may result in the suspension of cloud synchronization and support services.
5. BIR Compliance and User Responsibility
While BOSS POS is BIR-accredited and designed to help you stay compliant, the Merchant (User) is ultimately responsible for:
- Securing the Permit to Use (PTU) from the BIR.
- Ensuring all transaction data entered is accurate.
- Timely submission of reports to the BIR and mall networks (where applicable).
- Maintaining physical records as required by Philippine law.
6. Limitation of Liability
Logic8 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the BOSS POS system, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.
7. Termination
You may terminate your subscription at any time by providing 30 days' notice. Logic8 reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be settled in the proper courts of Metro Manila.
